Hi, I’m Laura Oster, an illustrator and designer. I love drawing bright designs and illustrations with pops of color and simple linework. I am inspired by gardening, nature, traveling, children’s books, and vintage fabrics.

With over a decade of experience as a graphic designer/art director, I have developed a deeper passion for illustration and surface pattern design. I am currently developing designs to license for fabrics and paper goods and I’m also illustrating a children’s ABC book. Whether I am designing for wallpaper, fabric, stationery or apparel, I hope my designs bring a little fun and joy to the world.

A FEW FUN FACTS

I’m left-handed.
I’m a twin.
My kids were born on the same day, they are two years and 35 minutes apart.
My superpowers are finding four-leaf clovers and parallel parking.
I’ve been told I do a pretty good impression of Cher and also of a giraffe eating leaves.
My dream is to visit Japan.
Did you know in Scotland they make small macaroni and cheese pies? That’s not really about me but it’s one of my favorite facts.
